The Ecologist, hardcopy or on-line, is an excellent environmental journal based in the UK that reports current news, has discussions on blogs, provides podcasts and archives - great for environmental researchers! - on international environmental issues. It targets a radical audience "providing a forum for social and environmental activists who seek to change current developmental policies in both the developing and the developed world".

Top news stories in the last few weeks includes:

25/4 - La Poste goes electric - how the French post office has announced plans to buy electic vans to replace its diesel fleet;

18/4 - Mobile phone study covered up - how a German research organisation commissioned by TMobile didn’t have flattering information… Reminds me of the environmental movement - commonsense tells you one thing but we chose to ignore it;
